Balangan beach is one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bukit peninsula, located in the South of Bali and only a 25 minute drive from the airport.

Well known and visited by surfers from all over the World, Balangan beach, Dreamland, Bingin, Padang Padang and Uluwatu were formerly considered the exclusive playgrounds of the surfing Community, with some of the best waves anywhere in the world on this small, stunning stretch of coastline. The waves at Balangan break through all the stages of the tide, with many different sections and offering rides up to 500 metres long on the bigger swells.

Balangan is no longer just the domain of the surfers who come to ride the legendary waves. People from all walks of life and all nationalities come here to enjoy the crystal clear waters and the powder white sand beach. Balangan Sea View Bungalows is situated on top of a small, gently sloping cliff with uninterrupted views to the horizon, out over the spectacular blue expanse of the Indian Ocean. We are just an easy one-minute stroll down to the beach.

The view to the South and West is out over the ocean and towards the sunset and the view to the North is of the majestic mountains and Volcanoes that run along the centre of Bali.

Balangan Sea View Bungalows has 2 “Batak Style” Bungalows called “Laut” (The sea) and “Gunung” (The mountain), 4 “Lumbung” style bungalows and 5 rooms above the restaurant, all with alang alang (grass thatch) style roofs, for maximum coolness and to blend in with the local landscape.

All the accommodation is set in a lush tropical garden and faces onto a 14m swimming pool. The pool also has a separate self-contained shallow section, so that young children can swim safely.
